Belle Destination Weddings & Events Featured in Style Me Pretty

Marysa and David had a very intimate wedding party of about 24 guests at the beautiful Haiku Mill on Maui. They were the sweetest couple and such a joy to work with in planning their special wedding day. Since the wedding was so intimate, it made it very special. There was a blending of cultures and traditions. Beginning with a Chinese tea ceremony, the ceremony then continued in a more traditional western wedding ceremony. It was important for the bride to make sure David’s Chinese traditions and her love of everything French were mingled together tastefully. Elements of Chinoiserie were brought into the decor details. There was a nice color palette of pink, peach, yellow, read and gold. Beautiful gold foil letter press invitations featured geometric Chinese patterns with tree branches and birds. We used vintage Chinese tea-tins to creatively display bouquets of flowers. We used red to adorn the elegant long dinner table for the 24 guests, which symbolizes love, joy and prosperity in Chinese wedding tradition.
